2.5 magnitude earthquake hits Jammu and Kashmir
Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], June 6 : An earthquake of magnitude 2.5 on the Richter scale hit Jammu and Kashmir at 6:21 am on Sunday.
As per the National Centre for Seismology, the earthquake took place at a depth of 5 kilometers.
No casualties have been reported so far.
A 3.0 magnitude earthquake strikes Katra, Jammu and Kashmir today morning. As per the data provided by the New Delhi-based National Centre for Seismology, the quake occurred at 5.11 am today, with the epicentre located 89 km east of Katra.
