West Indies vs South Africa, 5th T20I: AB de Villiers, Dale Steyn react to umpiring “shocker”.
South African greats AB de Villiers and Dale Steyn reacted to the on-field umpire’s decision as the short-pitch delivery ended well outside the leg-stump off South African batsman Wian Mulder in the final T20I between West Indies and South Africa. I was not wide. . This happened when South Africa’s score read 160-4 and Mulder was on strike against Obed McCoy in the last ball of the 19th over. McCoy bowls a short delivery along the line outside the leg stump even as Mulder tries to get some bat on him. While Mulder would have expected him to be called wide, the umpire did not think so.
Worst umpiring ever 🤣🤣🤣 pic.twitter.com/4fd9DwRy74
